It's summer. Here's what's happening.
It’s so dang hot in Orlando right now. It was 104 degrees today. Real temperature, not even the “feels like.” The humidity makes it feel like you’re walking through soup. Even the pool water is hot.
Every woman over the age of 40 here is feral.
I can’t even explain the hot flashes when it’s so hot outside. Honestly, sometimes it’s hard to tell you’re having a hot flash or if this is just your summer temperature. I say that, but then I actually have a hot flash and I turn into molten lava and melt away into a puddle of hot goo.
When I am not trying to cool myself down, here are some things we’ve been doing this summer.

Gracie drove us through an ATM this weekend for the first time. Her first time driving through an ATM? you ask. No, her first time AT AN ATM.
So, we pull into the lane and she gets up to the little box and then she stares at it.
“What are you doing?” I asked her.
“Well…” she says uncertainly, looking all over the ATM machine for something. “How do I, like… talk to it?”
“You don’t talk to it,” I said. “You tap your phone on it, like Apple Pay.”
Finally, words she understood. So, she taps my card and follows the instructions to get cash out of the machine. When the cash starts coming out of the machine, she squeals.
“OH MY GOSH!” she cried. “IS IT PRINTING MONEY?! IS THIS WHERE MONEY IS PRINTED?!”
sigh
At least she’s pretty.
