Not Everything Needs a Countdown
Back to school season is upon us, imaginary friends...
I’m supposed to be on vacation in New Orleans right now, but we had to cancel our trip because of some health issues going on. So instead, we’ve been home this week trying desperately to cling to the last days of summer before the kids jump back into school and real life.
Clinging to summer for me looks like this…
Following Gracie around swiping my debit card while we shop for back to school clothes and supplies. Gracie is pretty modest (especially considering style trends today), but she did branch out a little bit this year. As I texted Chris while we were shopping, “She’s definitely growing up. No hoebag clothes, but not Sunday school either. Brace yourself.”
Everything she bought she looked beautiful in and she felt like herself wearing. What more can you want for your teenage daughter these days?
We’re doing Bean’s shopping online. Praise be.
I’ve also been doing a lot of this…
